About Lew Burdette: Lew Burdette was a two-time All-Star pitcher best remembered for his performance with the Milwaukee Braves. He was named the 1957 World Series MVP after winning three games, including two shutouts, as the Braves defeated the New York Yankees. Burdette finished his career with 203 victories and pitched a no-hitter in 1960.
