On August 18, 2021, Stan Fitzgerald met with Garland Favorito for lunch at Favorito’s home in Roswell, Georgia.
Favorito is the co-founder of VoterGA (Voters Organized for Trusted Election Results in Georgia), a nonprofit organization focused on election procedures, voting systems, transparency and election integrity. Favorito has a professional background in information technology and has spent years researching and challenging Georgia voting systems.
At the time of this photograph, Favorito was the lead plaintiff in litigation seeking access to and examination of absentee ballots from Fulton County’s 2020 general election. The litigation challenged the inclusion of ballots that the plaintiffs alleged were unlawful; those allegations were contested and became the subject of extensive litigation.
The August 2021 meeting was part of Fitzgerald’s involvement with Georgia election-integrity activists and organizations during the period following the 2020 election.
