Stan Fitzgerald’s VFAF Veterans for Trump: The Movement Plays to Full House in Cobb County
MARIETTA, Ga. — Stan Fitzgerald’s documentary VFAF Veterans for Trump: The Movement was presented to a full house in Cobb County, Georgia, on September 19, 2024, as part of a community event featuring candidates for local office.
The event was held at Holy Transfiguration Greek Orthodox Church’s Parish Life Hall in Marietta. Event promotional material advertised a Cobb County Candidate Meet & Greet followed by the premiere of the documentary.
Photographs from the event show attendees filling the Parish Life Hall for the program and screening.
The documentary was directed by Stan Fitzgerald as an educational film project for Veterans for America First, also known as Veterans for Trump. The production was made in partnership with executive producer Jared Craig and features members of VFAF’s national leadership and other participants discussing the history, objectives and political activities of the Veterans for Trump movement.
The documentary includes Admiral Charles Kubic, Robert Cornicelli, Elizabeth Helgelien, Jeff Hoffmann, Jared Craig and Berney Flowers. The film runs approximately one hour.
The Cobb County screening was part of VFAF’s effort to make the documentary available for public screenings around the country. VFAF announced before its release that free screenings would be available nationally during the 2024 election cycle.
The film was subsequently made available for streaming through VFAF and was picked up for distribution by SalemNOW. Contemporary releases described The Movement as VFAF’s third documentary, following The Fall of Deceit in 2023 and Fitzgerald’s Border Invasion: An American Crisis earlier in 2024.
For Fitzgerald, the Cobb County showing also brought the national VFAF film project home to the Georgia community where he had been politically active.
