VFAF moment in history, let us share this story: On 03.30.2023, Ron DeSantis held a presidential campaign event in Cobb County, Georgia, and very few people attended. A sign wave was organized by a third party who was unable to secure the Trump bus to roll in. Stan Fitzgerald worked with Danny Hamilton to roll the bus into the DeSantis event, which had a tiny box truck set up in the parking lot. Hamilton’s arrival was met with crowd cheers. The optics looked so bad for the DeSantis campaign that they moved and hid the box truck behind the building. Fitzgerald forwarded the press release of the event to Brette Carolyn Powell with Team Trump, who at the time was assigned with the president’s daily press mentions. See: https://vfaf.us/trump-bus
